My Story
Like many others, I struggled with infertility, which led to anxiety and depression. I discovered that hand embroidery gave me an outlet to be creative, reduced my anxiety and helped me get through this difficult stage of my life. After having my second child through IVF and becoming an embroidery addict, I launched Embroidery Babes and haven't stopped stitching since!
A former corporate trainer, my true passion is now sharing my love for embroidery with others through teaching workshops at local businesses, corporate team building events, house parties, women's organizations and more (we're based in Bergen County but also travel). Participants have gotten hooked as well, with many sharing how it's given them a new hobby and provided therapeutic benefits.
I am passionate about sharing my love for hand embroidery through my workshops and provide a creative and fun experience. I love connecting with my customers whether it be through social media or in-person.
I've been fortunate to have been featured in News 12 NJ (video above) New Jersey Monthly, 201 Magazine, BC the Mag, The Bergen Girl, Bergen Moms Network and more.
Embroidery Babes is active in the community, always participating in local events and fundraisers. When I’m not working, I’m running after my two children!
My goal is to share my infertility story to show how you can turn your struggles into something beautiful. If you ever want to talk about your infertility experience or hear mine, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Xo,
Michelle
