What types of workshops/parties does Embroidery Babes offer?
Embroidery Babes can enhance your group event or party with our hand embroidery workshops and parties, complete with a take home embroidery kit. Our most popular is the adult workshop, Embroidery Basics “Stitch & Sip”. The Embroidery Basics Stitch & Sip is a 2 hour BYOB hands-on workshop where Embroidery Babes owner, Michelle Fleischer, teaches attendees basic hand embroidery techniques (with the help of assistants based on group size) and you leave with a one-of-a kind hand embroidered item made by you.
Who would enjoy this experience?
Our workshops and parties are great for adults and ages 12+ for group events, private parties, fundraisers and more! These workshops are designed to be a social and fun event rather than a technical class and no experience is necessary. Event Suggestions: - Plan a Stitch & Sip ladies night out with your friends or a mom’s night out with a group or school PTO/HSA - Host an event with your religious (Kvetch & Stitch is popular) or local women’s or charity organization - Have Embroidery Babes at your baby/bridal shower, bachelorette party or adult birthday party - Host a Stitch & Gift holiday party where you hand embroider something to gift - Corporate Wellness/Team Building workshops - Country Club events - Self care events at yoga studios, Gyms and Therapy practices

Where can I have an event and how many people can attend?
Embroidery Babes can come to your selected venue (whether it be a restaurant, art studio, private residence, etc.) within Bergen County, NJ and Rockland County, NY. Contact us for pricing, minimums and availability. For locations outside of this area, please contact us.
How can we customize our event?
Embroidery Babes can customize your event to make it fun and memorable for your group or guests! All workshops include a take-home embroidery materials kit that includes all of the supplies needed to embroider during the workshop and at home. The base pricing is for the option when attendees bring their own item to embroider (usually a piece of clothing or accessory). We can also create a package where Embroidery Babes supplies the items to stich*. Examples include a sweatshirt, canvas tote, or dog bandana. *Price varies depending on item Customization Ideas: - Embroidering “Oy Vey” on clothing for a Temple Sisterhood or JCC “Kvetch & Stitch” - PTA/HSA Mom’s Night Out “Spirit Stitch & Sip” where attendees can create custom clothing for their kids - Mom’s night out where you can embroider your children’s handwriting on an item - Baby shower activity where guests design and embroider a onesie or bib - Bridal shower activity where guests embroider a custom monogram on cocktail napkins for the bride and groom - Bachelorette party “Stitch & B*tch” - Decorate an item with patches for a Girl Scout troop
Adult Workshops
Learn hand embroidery fundamentals and stitches (the back stitch and X stitch) and leave with a custom item made by you! No experience necessary. 2 hours.
*BYOB and make it a Stitch & Sip!*
Learn the chain stitch using chunky knit and make a custom sweater! Recommend having attended Embroidery 101 or who have some prio experience with hand sewing/embroidery.

Learn how to stitch a loved one's handwriting on a sweatshirt! No experience necessary. 2 hours. *BYOB and make it a Stitch & Sip!*
Decorate your items with X stitches and patches! No experience necessary. 1 hour. Makes a great Mother/Daughter event as a house party or Girl Scouts (recommended ages 8+)! *Can also be just for adults!*
